As the founder of the forum, I have the natural privilege of being the first member. I admit this idea is a pretty crazy and ambitious one, but I guess time will show. My interest in the physical sciences started more than 30 years ago, as a teenager, fascinated by the idea and consequences of special relativity. I am a slow thinker, but when something puzzles me I never give up, so I usually get there.

In the last 10 years I spent quite a bit of time focusing on IEC (inertial electrostatic fusion), I built several variations of fusion reactors and applied for three related patents. Working with ion optics was very interesting, and high voltage raised more questions than it solved.

I like it when the pieces of a puzzle fit together perfectly, but the laws of physics annoyed me, it was like a crooked painting on the wall, I felt like it needed straigtening. First of all Newtons laws, which work fine for some things, but don't work at high velocity and stong fields, then general relativity which works better, but predicts some pretty weird stuff, like supermassive black holes, then there is quantum mechanics and that whole zoo of particles, which is too weird to even describe.

In the last 80 years, experimental physicists have challenged the laws, and as their measurements improve, the theoretical physicists keep patching their models to make the puzzle fit, resulting in ever more complexity.

In the last 30 years I have had 3-4 moments of inspiration, each one gave me a deeper understanding of the natural world, so I just followed my instinct and looked even deeper. What I found was a world so different to the world I was taught, that I wanted to share it with others.

This new world is is going to need a new set of physical laws, which is why we have come here. It is beyond my ability to rewrite the entire book of physiscs, but there are brilliant people like you, who can contribute. So let us change the world by, reading, thinking and writing.
