Karl Brehwens

PostTue Jul 22, 2014 8:32 am

Hi guys!

My name is Karl Brehwens, and I live in Stockholm, Sweden.

I have a fresh PhD in molecular bioscience with focus on radiation biology. During the latter years of my PhD studies, I became very interested in the physics-aspect of the radiation I was using to induce DNA damage in cells. Shortly thereafter, I stumbled across some youtube movies showing gamma spectrometry being done by amateurs using Steven's "gamma spectacular" range of devices. Said and done, I decided to build my own scintillation probe. That was over two years ago, and things have evolved (spiralled out of control, according to my wife) and I now opearate 4 probes, where my crown jewel is a 3x3" NaI(Tl) probe sitting in its own 70 kg lead castle.

During these two years I have also gotten to know Steven and the many projects he has spinning in his head. Mainly due to my experience in scientific writing, I became somewhat involved in the process of shaping his "ground potential" theory into a manuscript that can be submitted for publication.

I am no physicist, and I can't say I understand all aspects of the theory but it is growing on me, and being involved in the process of shaping a manuscript, I have read the theory many times. I'll get there, hopefully..... :) But my interest in science is broad!

I hope this forum will shed light on various aspects of the theory, highlight some "problems", and in general polish the diamond.

Steven and I are debating the necessity/benefit of getting the theory published, and for that reason I am hoping he will get many challenging and "left field" questions that will help him prepare for the onslaught a peer review process can be!

I also hope to learn a thing or two about theoretical physics which is largely uncharted territory for me!

Karl,

Thanks for joining... It looks as if your post was cut short, might be due to some settings in this forum which I havent figured out yet. Try editing the post and let me know if you can't fix it.

Steven,

I used to set up a couple of forums based on Invision Power Board. Let me know if you need any help.. Still mastering your theory, I am getting there...

Greetings to Karl B.!

What an interesting career path you have chosen w/regard to bio-science! I would be interested to read of your
views regarding bio-chemical interactions in response to a stimulus...such as continuous exposure to an EM field.
I am looking for ways to "explain" cellular adaptations wrt "electric eels" as well as other creatures that possess the
same ability to manifest electricity, and very little information is available.

Best Wishes, Gerry N.
